Dear Customers, Partners, Colleagues, and Friends,
We hit the ground running in 2008 and are continuing full steam ahead. Our first three quarters have been record-breaking on many levels, and despite the global economic challenges I see exciting times ahead in our industry and at TIS. I would like to start by expressing TIS’s and my own personal appreciation to each and every one of you. Many of you have made tremendous efforts and greatly contributed to the success we have seen over the past three quarters. I would like to share some of our recent highlights and provide a glimpse of what lies ahead.
Our first goal was to create the EMEA group, which includes Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The team consists of strong, well seasoned, and experienced technical and business professionals, who are systematically increasing our market share and solidifying our position as a market leader of Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR) solutions. In the coming months, we will announce several of our successes across multiple verticals with diverse applications spanning the entire region.
Our second goal was to replicate the German branch’s success. We are in the process of creating local knowledge centers that feed off each others’ experience, while providing seamless cross border and multi-lingual, yet localized, technology solutions. We are providing a true end-to-end content management solution, especially for SAP users. Our close partner Beck IT has been instrumental in helping us maintain a clear technological advantage and consistently keeping us one step ahead of the pack.
Our third goal was to fortify the already solid relationship with our US partner J&B and to create a strong local distribution channel. We are charging ahead, winning and implementing new projects. To date, we have secured several major accounts in the government (W2 tax processing), railway, media, and financial sectors. The financial uncertainties in the USA create a strong demand for a solution like ours, which provides clear cost savings, while empowering organizations to control processes and resources in a transparent way.
Our fourth goal was to improve our solutions while maintaining our competitive advantage. Our current offerings include Invoice Reader, a simple, yet powerful invoice processing solution; Smart, our mail classification application; and Ability, our approval workflow in SAP. All of them are available individually or combined on the eFLOW platform. We are also launching eFLOW 4.5, which includes several new powerful features to further support our efforts.
When reviewing where we are today, I can say without hesitation that we have steadily and surely increased our client base in the region throughout 2008 by providing high-profile and increasingly complex applications. We will make every effort to continue to do so in 2009.
Last, but definitely not least, despite our acquisitions and growth, we are still the same TIS family - you, our partners, customers, and employees, are highly valued. We are as committed to you as ever.
