The eFLOW Internet Bridge Connector

What? eFLOW4 out of the box cannot connect a remote site and central site if no LAN or WAN is present.

The eFLOW Internet Bridge Conncetor (IBC) would enable remote scanning (in different parts of the world) and the rest of the workflow on the central site. It would permit the connection of a remote eFLOW site with an eFLOW central site, not connected to each other at all. The only requisite that eFLOW IBC requires is that both the remote and central site have an Internet connection.

How? The diagrams below explain how the eFLOW Internet Bridge Connector works:

eFLOW IBC’s main advantages:

  • Easy to develop and implement.
  • Scalable: will be built with .NET and a multi tired structured.
  • In-house solution which can be quickly and easily implemented on any customer project.
  • Sufficient in-house knowledge to develop this easily and quickly.
  • A strong tool to compete against Kofax Ascent Capture Internet Server and PixTools Distributed Capture from EMC Captiva Software.
